Robert Ross, a founding partner of Ross Feller Casey, won an impressive multi-million-dollar verdict against a Pennsylvania hospital and two radiologists for failing to timely diagnose and treat breast cancer.

As of result of the missed diagnosis, cancer in a 54-year-old woman was allowed to progress untreated for nearly two years and reached Stage 3. The Bensalem, Buck County, woman then had to endure painful and invasive surgeries that otherwise would not have been necessary if doctors had properly read the results of mammograms in 2012 and 2013.

“Now every day of her life she has to worry about when and if this cancer is going to come back,” Ross told The Bucks County Courier Times.

At trial in Philadelphia last week, Ross convinced a jury that St. Mary’s Medical Center and two radiologists were negligent. The jury in the medical malpractice trial awarded the woman $3.35 million. Read the story below:
