Since joining Ross Feller Casey in 2019, Dan McGrath has worked on numerous cases that have resulted in multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements for catastrophically injured clients.
Most recently, in July 2021, McGrath helped win a major $5.8 million wrongful death verdict in Philadelphia on behalf of the family of a 48-year-old woman who died of uterine cancer in a tragic case of medical malpractice.
McGrath also assisted founding partner Joel J. Feller recover $15 million for a young boy who suffered a brain injury during surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor. Working with founding partner Matt Casey, McGrath has helped secure several multimillion-dollar settlements in product liability cases, including a $9 million recovery in a case involving a serious injury where the firm was hired only after the clients had unwittingly allowed the allegedly defective product to be destroyed.
Since becoming a lawyer, McGrath has focused his practice entirely on representing seriously injured clients at all phases of litigation.
McGrath graduated from Fordham University, and he earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law. During law school, he interned for the Montgomery County Public Defender Office and the Honorable Mark I. Bernstein in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
McGrath is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
He is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar associations, the American Association for Justice, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
