March 25, 2013 | Joel Feller and Matt Casey, founding partners of Ross Feller Casey, LLP, have issued a statement in response to newly released audio interview excerpts of Jerry Sandusky that were the subject of a segment on NBC's TODAY Show.
The statement read:
"Jerry Sandusky is a convicted child predator giving interviews from prison. Our clients, including Victim 2, have heard enough from Jerry Sandusky. They are focused on healing and holding Penn State accountable for choosing to protect Jerry Sandusky and themselves instead of protecting children from years of horrific sexual abuse."
The statement was released by Feller and Casey and State College attorneys Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici. The legal team is representing numerous victims of Sandusky -- more than any other firm -- in civil litigation against Penn State University.
In July, Ross Feller Casey released two voicemails left by Sandusky for Victim 2 in the fall of 2011 as the likelihood of Sandusky's indictment became apparent.
