Attorneys Matt Casey and Joel Feller of Ross Feller Casey have announced that “Victim 2” in the Jerry Sandusky case has come forward with plans to sue Penn State University. The previously anonymous victim who Mike McQueary stated he saw raped in a Penn State locker room shower in 2001 by Sandusky (former asst. football coach) has come forward and identified himself to attorneys Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici, who are working with Casey and Feller.

The attorneys say that the abuse suffered by Victim 2 was a “direct result of a conspiracy to conceal Sandusky’s conduct” by officials at Penn State University. They are currently planning to file a civil lawsuit against Penn State and other parties.

As recently as September of last year, Sandusky attempted to contact Victim 2, leaving voicemails on September 12, 2011 and September 16, 2011. The law firm has released these voicemails, and Sandusky reportedly said “there is nothing really to hide” and also invited Victim 2 to a Penn State football game. In both messages, Sandusky reportedly told the victim that he loves him.

The impending lawsuit from Victim 2 is expected to put pressure on the university to handle this scandal as quickly as possible to put it to rest.
