The Legal Intelligencer newspaper reported on its front page today that seven sexual abuse victims of Jerry Sandusky who are represented by Ross Feller Casey, LLP have agreed to settle their claims against Penn State University.
Attorney Joel Feller told the legal journal that Ross Feller Casey's seven cases -- more than any other firm -- were strong from the start. The firm's clients were nonetheless pleased that the settlements will save them from having to testify at civil trials and therefore will speed the heeling process, said Feller, a founding partner of the Philadelphia personal injury law firm.
Feller added that the cases are "unique in how these young men were individually destroyed" by the former Penn State assistant football coach.
