Ross Feller Casey today filed its fifth lawsuit in the past three weeks related to testosterone-containing drugs causing severe cardiovascular problems in men from across the nation.

The suit alleges that Garland Joseph, Jr., 70, of Grapevine, Texas, suffered a pulmonary embolism in October 2008 after taking the popular so-called "Low T" drug Testim for about eight months.

The lawsuit was filed against Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., the makers of Testim. It alleges, among other things, that Testim was "unreasonably dangerous due to its design, inadequate warnings and instructions for use, and testing, which created significant health risks and the threat of serious bodily harm to consumers at large, including Garland Joseph."

The nation's leader in testosterone lawsuits, Ross Feller Casey has filed four similar suits in Philadelphia alleging that testosterone-containing drugs caused: an Alabama man to suffer a stroke; a New Jersey man to have a heart attack; a Scranton, Pennsylvania man to suffer severe heart damage; and a Virginia man to suffer a fatal cardiac event.

The Low T lawsuits by the testosterone lawyers at Ross Feller Casey are believed to be the first five filed in Philadelphia, and among only a very few brought to date nationwide.

The testosterone attorneys at Ross Feller Casey are reviewing reports from many men across the U.S. who have suffered severe health problems while on AndroGel, Testim, Axiron, AndroDerm, Fortesta, and other testosterone replacement drugs. The firm expects to bring other testosterone therapy lawsuits in the coming weeks.
